Ursula Romana – Necklace with cockle

The necklace is shaped like the cockles that live just below the sandy bottom of Danish beaches. I have taken its distinctive heart-shaped profile and small indentations on the surface and reinterpreted them. WWF World Wide Fund for Nature warns that overfishing of cockles can have a negative effect on the seabed ecosystem. This is my little appeal to all of us to take care of it.
